Above the Below follows three astronauts whose return to Earth goes catastrophically wrong when their damaged re-entry capsule is thrown off course and plunges into the depths of the ocean. Trapped underwater, cut off from communication, and running out of oxygen, the crew must confront impossible choices as they fight to survive against overwhelming odds. Blending high-stakes suspense with psychological tension, the film stars Idris Elba, Caitlin FitzGerald and Hero Fiennes Tiffin, and is co-directed by Idris Elba and Martin Owen from a screenplay by Elizabeth Morris, Matt Mitchell and Vicki Sargent.
