Ballad of a Small Player follows a high-stakes gambler hiding out in Macau as he attempts to escape his past, his debts, and the consequences of a life built on risk. As his fortunes fluctuate and the pressure mounts, he becomes entangled in a world of chance, deception and self-destruction, forcing him to confront the choices that have brought him to the edge.
